Amy Crawford BA Hons ARAD RTS

Founder and Principal of NDC - Amy launched The Northern Dance Company , after discovering how unexposed the Northern Emirates were to the arts . 

Amy trained professionally at the prestigious Ballet West where she performed in tours such as “ The Nutcracker “  She then went on to further her studies in professional stage dance and contemporary , gaining a degree from the Performing Arts Studio Scotland . Amy continued her studies at The Royal Academy Of Dance to obtain her certificate in Ballet Teaching studies. Amy is a qualified and registered teacher of The Royal Academy of Dance . Amy is also a qualified gymnastic coach trained by the British gymnastic association, and leads the Acrobatics within the school.

Amy performed professionally across the world in shows , musicals and events , before falling in love with teaching and producing choreography. 

“Any great dancer can perform on a stage  , but it takes someone special to inspire and unearth young dancers Potential . There is no bigger reward than watching students blossom. “

Amy has taught and led projects across the UK and UAE . After 10 years of teaching and helping build schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, it was now time to get the Northern Emirates moving . 

 

 

Masa Ragheb 

 Masa studied under the great influence of Ms Kate Gravestock achieving her Vocational Royal Academy of Dance Examinations . On top of having a Bachelor of Science for Aeronautical Engineering & publishing her own children's book , Masa is finishing off her Certificate in Ballet Teacher Studies with the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance . Masa is triple threat teacher specialising in ; dance , drama and singing . Masa’s smile , positivity & energy are infectious, She will be an asset to NDC and our students ! We are so happy to have her onboard with ups

 

 

Miss G will be supporting Northen Dance in Musical Theatre Styles and bringing her expertise to ‘Tap dance’ in our new classes this year. Miss G trained in London where she gained a degree in Musical Theatre. She went on to train in Performing Arts at the world renowned Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts where she completed her training in Dance, Drama, Vocal studies, Music theory and Health & Anatomy. Miss G has directed and choreographed multiple Stage Musicals for children to adults across the globe. She has written and adapted musicals for children from the UK to Asia and East- Africa. As a qualified member of the British Association of Teachers of dance (BATD) and qualifications in LAMDA (London Academy Music and Dramatic Art) she has spent the last few years teaching in various school settings and dance academy’s bringing a wealth of experience to the UAE. She is very excited to meet all our enthusiastic and talented family at NDC.

 

 

Louise Warren MA , BA ( Hons) 

Louise Warren is an experienced  Dance Instructor and Educator with a demonstrated history of working in the performing arts industry. Skilled in Teacher training, Ballet teaching, Choreography, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Improvisation, and Arts Administration. Strong education professional with a Master of Arts (M.A.) focused in Dance Pedagogy from Middlesex University and BA(Hons) in Dance Education from University of Surrey/Royal Academy of Dance.

Lousie is also a dance supervisor and mentor for the Royal Academy of Dance - CBTS students . 

 

 

Guest teachers are brought in for our dance intensives and holiday programs . All of our guest teachers are professional performers working in the industry.
